Inspired by Christopher Guerette, Michael Stutzman and Eric Kolb's script for Geriatric Park (widely considered the first Trio project), Matthew DeCapua recruited Guerette and Stutzman to help him form the Daniel Hand High School Comedy Club in 1993. This group founded the 10% Fruit Juice players and the "Chalky Aftertaste" sketch comedy show. In 1995, Best If Used By began operations with a script for Fold-Out Couch a film about two young beat-poets during a summer of discovery. The film never went into production, but the creation of a third branch of the Comedy Club and the impending graduation of Guerette and Stutzman led to the formation of the Seafood Cheeselog Trio, assuring that the three original members of the DHHS Comedy Club would continue to create cooperative works. Three years later, Camp Llehotemoclew premiered as the first Best If Used By film.

The Films

The Legend of Camp Llehotemoclew
The Legend of Camp Llehotemoclew completely rewrites the history of that wonderful little day camp on the shores of Indian Lake. In this film, we learn the true origins of Captain Scurvy as he and the camp staff battle against a giant leech that has taken residence in the lake. The first draft of this script has just been completed by Christopher Guerette, and production is not yet scheduled.

12th Nite, or Whatever
This movie is an adaptation of the play Twelfth Night, or, Whatever by William Shakespeare. The language and settings have been modernized, but Shakespeare's themes and characters remain. This film was written and directed by Christopher Guerette and stars Erin Gorski and Matthew DeCapua.

Space Alien Sexually Aggressive Vampiric
Bloodthirsty Teenage Vixens
Written and directed by Matthew DeCapua, Space Aliens tells the story of a close encounter of the third kind in 1951. The United States is invaded by the blood-sucking denizens of the Planet of Hot Chicks, and it's up to a small military force to eliminate the threat. Camp Llehotemoclew's favorite characters make cameos in this film starring Matthew DeCapua, Erin Gorski and Christopher Guerette.

Hooked: The Ballad of Greasy Pete
Years after Greasy Pete left Indian Lake Family Campground, he turned to a life of highway piracy. The CIA infiltrates his operations, but can they stop him? Hooked was written by Michael Stutzman, but filming was never completed.

Camp Llehotemoclew
The first of the Best If Used By films was written and directed by Christopher Guerette and tells the story of a group of misfit counselors at Camp Llehotemoclew, the Happiest Place on Earth. Camp Llehotemoclew stars Matthew DeCapua in two roles and Michael Stutzman as depressed counselor, John Heckinger.
