Last good movie you saw.

I haven't been to a movie in a really long time, and I was looking for titles to rent from my local library. They have a system of "on hold" that is a lot like NetFlix, but it's free, which is good for me at the moment.

The last film I saw in theaters was Terminator 4. Which I have to say was not really worth it. They could have done it differently and I think the story would have been better. I liked how the machine did what it was programmed to do even though it didn't realize that was what it was doing.

I've always liked the determinism in the T movies, the way you really can't escape the future, even if you try to screw things up, that was how it was supposed to be. I think 12 monkeys did it better, but still.

So what do you think. Any good movies lately?

I actually watched two very good movies this weekend.

The Blind Side was as good as you've heard and formulaically good for the heart. The Fantastic Mr. Fox was just great. It was hilarious for all ages (well, maybe a bit dark for the little ones). Wes Anderson is a perfect match for Roald Dahl's work. Maybe even better than Tim Burton. I highly recommend both of them!

So, my little brother showed up the other day and said, "you've got to see this." And handed me "The Hangover."

great premise, well-acted. good cameos.

Heather Graham is terrible. She's the only stripper I"ve ever seen who wears a jog bra.

That being said... It's worth seeing.
