Abridged

February/March, 1997
I'm sorry if this picture frightens any of you, but I'm very proud of the latax face I designed for myself this past Halloween. I've taken a few liberties with the brightness and contrast, and, obviously the background (I'm not a severed head, contrary to popular belief) but other than that, this is what I looked like on Halloween. I came up with a name for the character, but I wasn't satisfied with it, so I'm going to throw the honor of labeling this costume to you, the reader. Please e-mail any suggestions to me at the link near the bottom of this section, or fill out this new, handy form:
Anyway, welcome to Issue 3 of "Sham." Faithful readers will notice a lot of new changes. First of all, I've implemented a navbar on the left side of the screen. I understand that this doesn't work perfectly without the images (the main section may be pushed too far left or right of the edge of the navbar), but I like it better than a second frame. Besides, Sham is an image oriented site, and I couldn't fudge my code with out depending on them.
I've also added some enhancements that allow you to see more about many of the links or images that appear on this page when you drag the pointer over them. I think this is really cool. Finally, I've moved the poetry to it's own page, and created a whole buch of link pages.Make sure you check out everything in the navbar, because I've made changes to everything (Check out all five pages of "Captain Scurvy").
One other change has nothing to do with anything. You may notice that this is the first photo of me alone, not with my girlfriend, Jessica. Don't fret, we're still as hot an item as ever. In fact, I'm planning to surprise her for Valentine's Day (The day after this page becomes public), by showing up at school to pick her up, six hours away, back in Connecticut. If you see this ahead of time, don't tell her. Anyway, I'll get a great picture of her on Valentine's Day, and when it gets developed, it'll go here:
So that's my letter. Remember, if you have any comments, suggestions, or (please!) submissions (I'll take anything, not just poetry), e-mail them to me at my link. Happy Spring Break to all of you!
